Why does the arc protection system use fiber optic cable transmission?

The arc protection system uses optical fiber transmission and is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference. RIZNER fiber (HFBR-EUS) uses a single-core plastic fiber that is easy to install and use, and is not easily broken. When using this fiber, no special protective sheath or other protective equipment is required. The fiber can be selected to a standard length or any length selected by the customer. A light sensor is coupled to the end of the fiber to filter the ambient light source. The sensor consists of a fiber optic adapter and a diffuse filter. The fiber ensures minimal response time for the arc protection system. The cut-off time is a key factor in reducing the extent of fault damage: the shorter the trip time, the smaller the damage. The entire trip time is determined by the trip time of the arc protection system and the trip time of the circuit breaker.
