The difference between the arc extinguishing device and the arc protection (already installed arc suppression device, why should the arc protection device be installed)?

The arc extinguishing device is when the system feeder has a single-phase ground fault (non-permanent fault, continuous operation for 2 hours), the system capacitor discharges, and the arc suppression coil in the arc extinguishing cabinet compensates to limit the system voltage increase, reduce or eliminate arcing when grounding.
The bus arc protection system is used to collect the arc signal of the cabinet when the relative phase or relative arc fault occurs (permanent failure), and simultaneously collect the overcurrent signal of the incoming line to quickly and selectively remove the fault.
In summary, the objects and functions of the two devices are completely different. The arc suppression cabinet is for the feeder and the arc protection is for the bus. In order to ensure the normal operation of the power supply equipment, the bus arc protection system can remove the fault within 100ms when the arcing fault occurs in the power supply system, thereby maximally protecting personal safety and reducing property losses.
